Although oak wood the least of solid hardwood's reacts to micro climate
changes in the premises, it is living material, which expands and
contracts in response to varying climatic conditions, thus appearing of
cracks is possible. |

- Avoid exposing the furniture to excessive heat or direct sunlight as this can cause cracking and deterioration of the colour.
- Furniture should be kept at heated premises in order to avoid long term humidity impact on solid wood.

Any spills should be removed immediately with
a soft damp cloth. Never put hot dishes or any other hot things
directly onto wooden surfaces.
- The spots left by water or other liquids can be
removed by scouring the surface with fine sandpaper carefully and
applying some furniture oil on the furbished place after.
- Take care when moving the furniture and never drag the pieces across the floor as this can cause damage to the joints.
- Occasionally rotate accessories so they do not remain in the same spot for extended periods.
- To maintain the furniture in perfect condition,
please take care that in the first 3 months the thin coat of furniture
oil should be applied with a sponge, once a month.
- After this period an application of oil once a year should be sufficient to maintain the soft oil finish of the furniture piece.
